本网讯(通讯员刘顺红 )1月4日下午,墨西哥国立理工大学(National Polytechnic Institute) 材料与冶金工程系 J.R. Vargas Garcia教授在武昌校区多功能报告厅为我校师生作了题为《High quality transparent conducting oxide films prepared by sol-gel spin-coating》的高水平学术讲座。
Vargas教授首先简要介绍了墨西哥概况,接着介绍了墨西哥国立理工大学的规模及特色,墨西哥国立理工大学是墨西哥最大的综合性大学,被誉为“墨西哥的清华大学”。
随后,Vargas教授从高性能导电薄膜的发展趋势着手,从高性能透明导电薄膜的制备工艺以及该材料的应用等角度展开,详细介绍了控制薄膜厚度、薄膜质量的工艺,及其课题组所取得的研究成果,结合当前状况,阐明了ITO导电薄膜的重大意义。ITO导电薄膜是在钠钙基或硅硼基基片玻璃的基础上,利用溅射、蒸发等方法镀上一层氧化铟锡(俗称ITO)膜加工制作成的。它是液晶显示器(LCD)、等离子显示器(PDP)、电致发光显示器(EL/OLED)、触摸屏(TouchPanel)、太阳能电池以及其他电子仪表的透明电极最常用的薄膜材料。以往的ITO薄膜通常采用溅射法获得,这种方法设备昂贵,一套ITO生产系统至少需要2千万人民币,使得薄膜制作成本偏高。Vargas教授使用sol-gel(溶胶凝胶)法制备ITO薄膜,由于这种方法制备的ITO薄膜质量好、成本低,因此该法在大规模工业生产方面具有巨大的应用前景。
报告结束后,Vargas教授同聆听报告的师生进行了深入探讨与交流。
本次报告由湖北省“湖北省教育厅有关人才计划学子”、“工大学者”特聘教授赵培教授主持,我校相关领域教师、研究生及本科生110余人聆听了此次报告。
